Used 1970 Chevrolet Corvette for sale in Blacksburg, VA

I purchased this car about 8 years ago from a gentleman in Roanoke Va. It had been sitting in his yard under a tarp since the 1980s. The owner told me that in 1980-something he had installed a ZZ4 engine that came from the shop of Richard Childress. Within days of getting it running he lost control of it and spun out and wrecked the back of the car. The tail panel, right bumper and right rear fender were damaged. In the 1980s you could buy one of these cars for 3000 or less. Since body panels were not readily available the cost of repair and paint exceeded the value of the car and so the insurance company totaled it. Even though the car was driveable and would even pass a safety inspection. ( I have pictures of the damage). It took me about 2 years to convince the Va State Police to come look at the car and to certify that it was not a salvage car. They agreed with me and issued me a clean Va title. I have all of the paper work detailing the original damage and the repairs. This car is the correct Marlboro Maroon painted by C&K Customs of Daleville Va. The engine is indeed a ZZ4. I called Richard Childress Enterprises and they verified that the engine did come through their shop. Because I didnt buy the engine new, they would not tell me what they did to it. It is an extremely strong engine. The transmission is the original turbo 400 that I completely rebuilt. The interior is the correct Light saddle and is the deluxe leather. I have replaced the entire interior including the seat belts, retractors and door panels. The exhaust is new including the manifolds and is the correct bolt on type. This car is a power steering, manual brake car that never had AC. All weather stripping has been replaced. There is no rust in the frame or bird cage. I have tried to include pictures to show this. You absolutely could not buy one of these cars and put in this shape for what I am asking. This car is ready to drive anywhere.
