Vehicle Description
1970 Dodge Charger SE/500 XP29LOG221xxx Matching numbers to engine and transmission. Originally a 383 2bbl automatic, now a 383 4bbl with correct Holley 4bbl. 2 owners since 1985. It is an Alabama car. This is a LOADED SE/500 Charger that was originally ordered by what is reported to be one of the first female Chrysler executives in the Huntsville, AL plant. This Charger carries a *999* paint code, denoting a color that is normally not available. In this case, the color that was unavailable in 1970 on Chargers was A4 silver. I have a mint Broadcast sheet for the car as well. Being an SE, it has brand new Legendary Charcoal leather interior as well as new carpet, headliner, and back seat coverings. Console is very nice. Door panels are original and mint. Great dash pad. Dash and gauges, including factory tach, are all original. There was a repaint of the car around 1983 so it is a 10 footer. The car was painted, certainly not "restored" back then. Brand new tires with great original hubcaps. New gas tank and straps. Original trunk mat still there. Undercoating preserved bottom of the car which os solid. Front suspension and steering completely rebuilt. Headlight covers rebuilt and work great. New Legendary SE Leather seat covers and carpet. Some of the options: Hood turn signals A/C - not hooked up Power steering Power drum brakes Hemi torsion bars and rear leafs Front sway bar 2.45 8 1/4" rear axle (currently 8 3/4" 3.91 489 case - fresh with Richmond gear and PowerLok) Wood grain wheel W13 NOS wheel covers on steel wheels A01 Light Pkg A47 SE Pkg C62 6-way seat Tinted glass H31 Rear window defogger (Not hooked up but I have the original blower and ductwork) Front and rear bumper guards M91 Luggage rack R22 AM/8-Track radio Car runs and drives very strong.
