Vehicle Description
This amazing Super Bee has just been released from the Maxwell Family Private Collection for public sale at Maxmotive! This is a special car. It's not often you come across a real movie car -- one that actually starred in a film. And even when you do it's often some crazy undriveable contraption. Not so here. Leading man Edward Norton drove this very car in the Spike Lee film "25th Hour." But this movie star Mopar stands on its own, even without the film credits. The 440 engine has the coveted Six-Pack setup with an Edelbrock aluminum intake. It sports other upgrades from Hedman, COMP Cams, MSD, Mopar Performance, Pro Torque and March Performance. The Top Banana paint and 15 inch Rallye wheels give it a great Mopar muscle attitude. Studio cars are often worked on by top professionals. The reliable March Performance one-inch serpentine belt drive is evidence of this. Even a hot rod has to run flawlessly during filming. It wasn't born a Super Bee, but it's much more than a Hollywood illusion. Consider this. The Super Bee upgrades were done at the legendary Mr. Norm's Grand Spaulding Dodge. Even the most particular Mopar purist has got to love that! The dash was signed by Spike Lee and Edward Norton, and lots of movie memorabilia comes with the car, including posters and the original script.
