Vehicle Description
454-POWERED 1970 GMC C25 This 1970 GMC C25 is a 3/4-ton pickup which was modified for towing with a custom box for mounting a fifth-wheel hitch. The truck was custom built by an experienced race car builder to pull his 5th wheel race car trailer. It is powered by a 454ci Big Block V8 out of a 1973 Corvette and is backed by a rebuilt Turbo 350 automatic transmission with a shift kit. Please copy and paste this link to access an online album with 265 High-Res photos: https://imageshack.com/a/KE1o/1 The truck is finished in a custom two-tone paint scheme with maroon as the primary color contrasted by a black cherry finish on the center panel and rear valance. It is a high-quality paint job with deep rich color and shine. The paint is in excellent condition with little to no imperfections. The glass, chrome, emblems, and light lenses are excellent. The interior was completely redone with new reupholstered seat, carpeting, door panels, dashboard panels, and all metal surfaces were painted to match the exterior paint and color scheme. The cabin features factory-style black vinyl bench seat upholstery, matching carpets, and a steel dash finished in the exterior colors with custom pinstriping on the glovebox. The truck is equipped with a factory steering wheel and a later aftermarket Clarion cassette stereo. Stock instrumentation includes a 100 mph speedometer, battery charge indicator, temperature gauge, fuel gauge, and oil pressure gauge as well as a 5-digit odometer showing 76k miles. The pickup box has been modified with an angled trailing edge, custom diamond-plate tailgate and floor, and aftermarket lights to facilitate towing a trailer with a fifth-wheel hitch. The mounting holes for the removed hitch are visible in the bed floor, which is covered by a rubber mat. A standard receiver hitch has also been added at the rear. A chrome roll hoop is installed in the pickup box, and “454” badges have been added to the front fenders. Aftermarket 16.5″ wheels are fitted with BFGoodrich Radial All-Terrain light truck tires measuring 31″x10.5″ at the front and 33″x12.5″ at the rear. The exhaust system incorporates tubular headers with merged collectors and silver true dual piping. The undercarriage has been undercoated and is clean and completely solid. Detailed photos are provided to show the frame, suspension, body mounts, and floors. This truck is a quality, cool, and very functional build. It was built right by an experienced race car builder. It is in all around excellent condition. It is completely turn-key and you can drive it anywhere and while towing almost anything. It's a truly unique truck that is an absolute blast to drive.
