The AAR Cuda was only produced in 1970 with Limited Production, total built was 2,724, 1120 were 4-speeds and 1604 were Automatics. Built during a five week period between March & April. Painted Plum Crazy Purple with a special textured flat Black finish on grill, hood, tops of fenders and upper door edges and tail panel. A strobe stripe graphic running the length of the car ending at the rear with the Red, White and Blue AAR Crest. The AAR hood is lightweight fiberglass and has a functional air scoop and contained hood pins holding the hood closed at the front.
