Vehicle Description
Who hasn't wished they could go back in time and change some of their decisions? Out of all the car crazy people in 1970, only 14 acquired a Hemi Cuda Convertible. Fourteen! That's barely a basketball team. Various economic, insurance, and fuel price factors contributed to this, but now we've realized the error of our ways, and a Hemi Cuda convertible is worth millions - if you can find one. This is a genuine 1970 Barracuda convertible, a car worthy of a rotisserie restoration. And while we're at it, let's create a dream car. This one is just that. The engine is the ultimate - the truly legendary 426 Hemi. 425 conservatively rated horses. On top is the Shaker hood scoop with those magic words on the sides - "hemi cuda." It even has a trick little switch on the dash labeled "Carb Air." The paint color is one that has come to stand for classic Mopar muscle, In Violet. That was the Plymouth name for the hue Dodge more famously labeled "Plum Crazy." That great color is augmented by black "Hockey Stick" stripes that proudly proclaim the presence of the Hemi. The black vinyl interior looks so good it really takes you back in time. It has a woodgrain dash with four big gauge pods. A handsome and comfortable wood-rimmed 3-spoke steering wheel invites you to take hold. More woodgrain is found on the center console and, of course, the trademark Pistol-Grip shifter. Yes, it's a four-speed. The car is so complete that it's easy to overlook the correct 15-inch Rallye wheels and Goodyear Polyglas GT tires. The greatest feature of all is that you can drive and enjoy this fabulous car. You can put the top down, put your foot into that awesome Hemi, and feel like a million.
