Vehicle Description
This Karman Ghia is the ultimate custom rebuild. An ultimate sleeper, it was built with the intent to be able to chase and catch the crotch rockets in the Colorado Mountains and leave all the Corvettes and Porsches in the dust. The odometer reading is for the original body of the Karmann Ghia. We could not replace it to reflect the actual odometer reading of the new engine from the Subaru engine. The new Subaru engine had only 7000 miles at the time of the rebuild. The build was performed by a professional Volkswagen and classic car restorer in 2008 over the course of 9 months. Since then, it has been stored indoors. The paint and body is in excellent to good condition. There has been less than 100 miles driven in it since 2008. This car roars! This Ghia is old AS IS. Asking price is a fraction of the build price of over $68K. Serious inquiries only. Here are the specs: Body of 1970 Karman Ghia.
