Vehicle Description
1971 Nova COPO tribute bench seat sleeper. Car is disguised as a stock 396 but is really a balanced and blue printed full roller 468 big block ground pounder with 500 HP to the rear wheels! Has quick fuel 950 carburetor, 60 over Speed Pro pistons, 9:5:1 compression, Comp cams extreme energy hydraulic roller xr282hr cam with 510 lift. Roller lifters and roller tip rockers. ARP rod bolts. Engine was built in September 2011 using all new parts and I have receipts. This Nova has endless power. Heavy duty multiple leaf rear with rebuilt 12 bolt posi with 3:31 gears, all GM guts to drive anywhere. Rare HD turbo hydromatic 475 out of a motor home which was built to handle 1000 H.P. This car is from Arizona. Has all original body, arrow straight. No rust or rot. Great looking bumpers. Bright work is very nice. Paint is 9 years old and drive train is under 6 years old with just shy of 6000 miles. Paint has the same miles on it. Paint does have some normal road wear associated with being driven 6k miles, has small paint chips on drivers door but not bad and I have Rally Stripe that will go with the car which will cover it, no one notices. Shows extremely well and is a crowd pleaser, but I would consider this a very high end driver. Professionally installed new glass, all the way around car. Car Runs Excellent and is SCARY FAST! Very plush riding car. Interior is mint. Aftermarket CD player with nice sound, but I prefer to listen to the car. After market dash gauge cluster and B&M ratchet snifter. Drive anywhere. No roll cage and never been cut up. I have most of the documentation on the engine build and receipts for parts. Under side of car is just as clean as top, with no rust ever. Restored old school slapper bars, full 3" stainless PYPES exhaust with X pipe and race pro mufflers. New gas tank and sending unit. Power disc brake car, and brakes are excellent. Newly installed power steering system, but a quick ratio manual steering box and rag joint will come with car, if you prefer. 15" Wheel vintiques steelies with poverty caps. BFG Radial TA's. Excellent condition. Rear tires are 255 60 15 with absolutely no rubbing issues. If you want to go with bigger tires, the rear wheel lips have been rolled. You cannot tell until you feel under it. 4 core aluminum radiator with remote fan. Doug's coated long headers. High torque starter. This car was put together paying lots of attention to detail and is neat as a pin and never beat on, but like stated above, It’s SCARY FAST. This Nova gets a lot of attention. Please ask any and all questions before sending an offer. Thank you. Heat works great but the blower motor lever is stuck in the off position, leave as is or take a few hours and fix it, new owner can decide. I am open to REASONABLE offers and reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. This is not a good first classic vehicle for someone who just started driving because of the power, you have been warned! Reason for the sale, I just do not use it that much. Clean clear title in my name. If you want to contact me about any detail of the car you can call or email. Vehicle has no warranty and buyer responsible for shipping.
