Where to begin with how rare this one is- Original Build Sheet and Original Invoice documented FACTORY BLACK, 429, RAM AIR, FOUR SPEED, CLOSE RATIO, DRAG-PACK, 411 DETROIT LOCKER, POWER DISC BRAKES, CONSOLE, MAGNUM 500 WHEELS, INSTRUMENTATION GROUP, STEREOSONIC TAPE SYSTEM oh my goodness what a car. Per the Marti Report this car is one of 201 with this paint and trim code and one of 531 with a SCJ Engine and Drag Pack for 1971 in a Mustang Mach 1 sports roof. Very special. Our understanding is that the J code engine, 429 with Ram Air, when coupled with the Drag Pack option turned this car into a Super Cobra Jet. This is a beautifully restored car with a very detailed engine compartment full of correct components and markings. The underside of the car is very crisp and correct with excellent metal and a very clean appearance finished in a nice black paint that is without any rustproofing. The panel fit is very nice on this Mach and the black paint presents well and straight. The interior is finished out quite nicely. Overall this is a car that would fair very well at just about any show it went to because of the quality and uniqueness of this model. Trim, chrome, wheels, tires even a correct Autolite battery make this a very straight, very correct Mach 1. Documented big block four speed in black....
