Used 1971 GMC 2500 for sale in Volo, IL

This 2500 HD has cold factory air conditioning, power steering and power disc brakes. 350 motor with auto trans make it an easy, comfortable truck to use. Beautiful restoration, body was off the frame. EXTERIOR: It is really slick looking. It has a very glossy, smooth finish bright red paint. Them long flat sides are straight as can be. Up front is has the optional chrome grill and bumper that look new. The optional trim going down the sides is new. The mirrors, door handles, trim on back of the cab is all new. In back it has the diamond plate step bumper with a hitch receiver. All the trim on the tailgate and tail lights are excellent. GMC letters are highlighted with white painted background. The windshield has been replaced, all the rubber gaskets and window seals are in excellent shape. Door jambs are painted smooth and glossy, new weather strips and custom GMC inscribed sill plates. Original vin tag with weight capacity is still riveted to the jamb. This is the heavy duty 2500 series so it has 8 lug wheels. This one's been upgraded with a really sharp set of new Eagle alloy aluminum trims with new Firestone white lettered tires. Inside the bed is real solid and straight, it's been repainted. Has rubber floor mat. INTERIOR: Inside the cab has been completely painted a gloss red like the outside. The door inserts have been painted parchment, new armrests. Correct new upholstery on the seat. It even has white seat belts. The mirror, visors and rubber mat have been replaced. The heater controls are in excellent shape. Has upgraded retro stereo with an auxiliary plug and kicker speakers. The gauge area is very nice, has optional oil-temp-amp gauges. There is a crack in the dash pad and steering wheel. Glove box liner is new and it has it's original options sticker. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It's actually super clean in this engine compartment! All the black metal is smooth, no pitting, no layers of chopped paint. It has a nice semi gloss finish on the radiator support, inner fenders, bottom of hood, firewall and air cleaner. The air conditioning box is has it's raw fiberglass finish. The engine has a nice clean fresh coat of Chevy orange paint. All the components are clean and proper- the master cylinder and brake booster, clutch fan, shroud and even the heat shield and tube off the manifold. The correct 350 with 4 barrel carb runs smooth and strong. Has power steering and brakes, the factory a/c is ice cold. UNDERSIDE: Very solid, rust free metal. We have a picture of the body off the frame during restoration, new body bushings. Bottom of motor is clean, has new starter. It has a turbo 350 automatic trans. It has disc brakes in front, first year it was offered. Has dual exhaust and heavy duty springs. Now that I've looked all around the truck, I am very impressed. Its tidy and proper in and out. Great options, very sharp looking. Ready to enjoy, it's ready to work too. Put your business name on it and you have a tax write off.
