Vehicle Description
This is a stock 1972 Buick Skylark convertible in desert yellow with a white top and sandalwood interior making it an eye-catching classic beauty. The power convertible top is new including new hydraulics and new motor and is in excellent condition with a glass rear window. The Skylark sandalwood color interior seats and black carpet were both replaced about 10 years ago and are like new. The car was recently painted desert yellow and is stunning. The car is free of dents and rust. It has been garaged and kept out of the elements. It has had only two owners, the original buyer and me. I have owned this vehicle for 20+ years. It is a 350-2 V8 engine. The engine and transmission were rebuilt 20 years ago and only have about 5,000 miles on them as the car has only been driven for pleasure on sunny days. The automatic transmission shifts like new. It has power steering and power brakes. It has five rally wheels. This car is very reliable and runs excellent. It has been meticulously maintained. The air conditioning works well and will deliver cold air. The following work has been completed: a complete tune-up, all new brakes and wheel cylinders installed, four new Cooper Cobra Radial GT tires installed and alignment done, newly re-chromed bumpers, a new battery and recent oil change. The following three items have been replaced and the original items have been kept and will be included with the purchase of this Skylark. A newer radio has been installed. The original radio works. The clock has been replaced with tach. The original clock works and was converted to a quartz movement. The radiator has been replaced with a heavy duty aluminum radiator. The old radiator which has a small leak is an easy re-core if new owner wants to replace the heavy duty aluminum radiator with the original radiator. I have all of the parts for the seat belts which need to be installed. The seat belt parts will be provided with the purchase. If you want a good-looking, reliable, everyday classic cruising automobile with power that you can drive anywhere this is your car. Serious buyers only. A buyer who has already made the decision to purchase and is just narrowing the field down to the right car for you. This individual has already consulted with family members, friends and/or business associates and is clear on their financing/purchase options.
