Used 1972 Chevrolet C10 for sale in Lavergne, TN

If you are a fan of 1970s pickups, then you should check out this top of the line, Cheyenne Super C10. It is absolutely gorgeous inside and out in its factory correct colors as well as its correct and spotless interior. This truck seems like it was built especially for a two-tone paint job, and this coating of Blue and White proves that beautifully. The long straight lines of the body are accentuated and highlighted by the white center section edged with a black and chrome strip along the top and a bolder one along the bottom. Up front there is a simple and clean look with an eggcrate grill sporting a dark blue Chevy bowtie in the center which is underlined by a shiny chrome bumper. At the back, the tailgate has a protective rub strip on the top edge, then a band of chrome trim that outlines the rest of the tailgate including the wood toned panel with Chevrolet in lettering across it. Another sharp looking bumper underlines it, and when you drop that tailgate, you will find that the inside of the bed has received just as much love from the body and paint guys as the outside of the truck. Open the door and feast your eyes on a concours level interior. An active restoration market with quality vendors was able to provide all the correct upholstery and trim in the correct colors so that it looks like it did sitting on a showroom floor in 1972. The molded door panel has a nice long armrest built into it and there is wood tone trim where the door latch and window crank are mounted. The bench seat has patterned cloth seating surfaces surrounded by vinyl trim. A three-spoke steering wheel with a bowtie center button is mounted on a tilt column along with the shifter for the automatic transmission. Behind it is the blue dashboard along with a wood tone panel trimmed in chrome. It has the factory gauges, also dressed out with chrome, set into it with the speedometer on the left, tach in the center, and fuel on the right with water, oil and volt meters across the bottom. In the center is an FM/Cassette deck and ventilation controls that include those for the factory A/C system. Pop the hood and you will find a 350 cubic inch motor nestled down in a neat and clean engine bay. The engine has been fully restored back to stock with just one substitution of an Edelbrock carb for the original. Neat and clean is actually an understatement. Concours quality would again be the more appropriate term. The firewall and inner fender wells are as spotless as the outside of the truck. The engine has the correct air filter housing with the correct stickers on it and we could definitely overuse the word correct to describe everything else about it. Power flows back through a 3-speed automatic transmission to a 12-bolt rear end located by trailing arms and mounted on coil springs. Up front, a control arm suspension with coil springs with a beefy sway bar help the truck drive like a car and power front disc brakes provide good stopping ability. The rubber meets the road through 275/40/R20s in the back and 245/45/R20s in the front on Riddler wheels. Admittedly not factory original pieces, but we think they would have been if the technology existed back then on this top-of-the-line Cheyenne.
