Vehicle Description
This 1972 Nova was a complete rotisserie restoration that’s a blast to drive and has a killer old school look. If you are looking for a street machine you can rip around and win shows with, this car falls into both of those categories. The body of the Nova was stripped down to bare metal and it’s as clean as it gets no matter where you look. Everything looks new, from the exterior to the undercarriage, to the trunk. The panel fitment on the car is excellent with the doors lining up properly with the quarters and proper hood and trunk fitment. Prior to paint, the car was nicely blocked, so the panels are straight. Post paint, the clear has been sanded to remove texture and buffed to a mirror finish. All of the chrome is new, and the stainless has been redone. During the restoration, all of the suspension and brake components were rebuilt from front to rear. The car has power front disc and rear drum with all new lines and hoses. The master and booster are also new and the Nova stops on a dime. The driving feel is nice and tight thanks to all new bushings, ball joints, control arm bushings, tie rod ends, idler arm and a new steering box. The engine is a rip-roaring big block built with a 454 using a 427 crank, Keith Black pistons, Edelbrock aluminum heads and aluminum intake, Holley 850 carb, and Comp Mutha Thumpr cam. The engine has 10.5:1 compression and flows through long tube headers that go to Magnaflow mufflers. The motor makes over 500 HP, runs nice and cool and is rowdy when you want to get after it!
