Vehicle Description
If you are the kind of person who appreciates a timeless design executed with an attention to detail that separates it from the crowd, then you will appreciate this very fine example of a 1972 Ford F100. Its classic good looks are updated and re-imagined with modern techniques and technology, and the results are quite impressive. Take a closer look at this restomod, it's pretty impressive. Starting with the crisp, clean lines of this '72 Ford, a team of professionals went to work to accentuate those lines and complement them with a few custom touches. Lowering the truck with a bit of chassis rake so those big wheels tuck way up into the fender wells gives it a dramatic look right off the bat. When the decision was made to coat the truck in a custom Light Green paint job, the body men knew the panels had to be done right before a drop of paint was applied. The quality of workmanship is great, and it sets a high standard for this type of paint. To perfectly contrast the green tones, the grille, bumpers, and brightwork is all new, and sparkle from any angle and distance. Custom touches like the deleted drip rails, color-matched spray-in bedliner, and gas tank relocation underneath the bed all add to the restomod image of this beautifully restored F100. Open the door and you will find an interior that continues the quality of workmanship and attention to detail that is evident on the body. The original bench seat was tossed aside and replaced with black ProCar buckets that provide added comfort and support, all while maintaining the truck's restomod theme. The wrapped three-spoke steering wheel has a Ford center button and rests upon a paint-matched tilt column, allowing room for drivers of all shapes and sizes. The dash itself is also painted Light Green and houses a billet gauge panel with crisp white-face Dolphin gauges. Black door panels are new and match the plush black carpet, interrupted only by the towering Hurst shifter centered in the cab. Pop the hood and take a peek, you'll notice quickly that the outstanding workmanship extends to the engine bay. A thunderous 468 CI big block V8 (460 block bored .040 over) with ported D3VE heads is nestled down in a meticulously detailed out engine bay. A chrome air filter feeds a Holley Sniper EFI system, and the Weiand aluminum intake manifold, chrome valve covers, and aluminum radiator add a splash of flash. Hedman longtube headers flow back through dual mufflers and all the power and torque this motor makes flows back through a more-than-capable Tremec TKO600 5-speed manual transmission. The suspension has been updated with a late-model Explorer rear-end and a Lincoln front subframe with power rack and pinion steering. Four-wheel disc brakes provide tremendous stopping power and the rubber meets the road through 275/45/20s in the back and 245/40/18s in the front mounted on those awesome Vision wheels. A timeless design updated and re-imagined using modern tech, with a quality of workmanship that is second to none. With only 2,058 miles on the build, this F100 is barely broken-in, but ready to be shown-off. Call today!
