1972 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible You are viewing a very nice survivor car with only 43K miles. The car is unrestored and very original in all aspects and shows really nice. Looks like a 5 year old car like it was 1977 or so. Always garaged and owned for 40 years. Third owner. Only 1,929 were built in 72. Please read on for more particulars of the car: Body/Paint: The paint is very nice considering its age. A little road rash in a few spots but still very presentable. Shines and shows very well. The body is in excellent condition with no rust. The car was never used in the winter and it shows. Interior: The interior is in incredible condition and shows very nicely. The white leather looks excellent with only slight wear on the driver’s seat. PS, PB, 4 way power driver’s seat. No AC, tilt wheel, Top: Original white power top with glass window. In pretty good shape considering its age, but shows some sign of wear. Running Gear: Original 351 2v, 2bbl carb, original C4 transmission and rear end. Suspension: Original in good working condition. Bright work: All original in excellent condition. Glass: All original. Exhaust: Dueled with glass packs. Brakes: Power front disc with rear drum in good working order. Wheels/Tires: Original wheels with Ford caps on the car. Original caps and rings come with the car in nice original condition.
