Used 1972 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia for sale in Cadillac, MI

1972 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia- Here's the details in short. *28,000 on the odometer, I believe that's actual, because it still has most of the original parts on it, even typical wear items that otherwise would have been replaced had it rolled over the 5-digit meter. Odometer is still turning and functional. *Original numbers matching 1600 DP motor, 60 hp I believe to the '72 year. Original 4 speed, not an autostick. Black vinyl interior in great shape, also original but doorcards were replaced. AM wheel, radio, shift knob, etc. by previous owner. White paint is good, an older paint job it appears, but still looks nice even close up. It was originally a very drab light blue as you can see under the dash, but everything else was painted nicely, from the front compartment to the door jambs. You would never know it had a color change. Original motor runs great, and transmission is really smooth shifting and never pops out of gear. Too many new engine parts to list, including carb, distributor w/ elec. ignition, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, fuel pump, rebuilt generator, new battery etc. Also all new brakes, front and rear. New Wolfsburg center caps. *Dropped 2.5' in the front, and looks amazing. The tires will rub if you turn lock-to-lock, but rides nicely. Whitewall tires, also brand new. Overall a great car that you can drive anywhere. I just drove it over 200 miles last weekend... and got 32 mpg while doing so. Did great!
