This big block corvette was sold new at William H Porter Inc in Newark Delaware. The last owner had this C3 Corvette for over 26 years, and it has been very well-maintained and garage-kept. He had the original motor and transmission completely rebuilt to make this classic Corvette a true performance car. He also kept an extremely detailed log for the car and extensive list of receipts for upgrades done. During our restoration, we replaced the following: front bumper (with fiberglass), 2 1/2" dual exhaust, Flowmaster race mufflers, belts and hoses, brake calipers, master cylinder, water pump, fuel pump, rear spring and bushings, 4 shocks, sway bar links, rebuilt carb, fan clutch, spark plugs, head light canisters and switches, complete carpet, door panels, weatherstrips, heater core, thermostat, all fluids changed, and much more. We also had a complete base-coat/clear-coat paint job done. The last owner had the following work done: original engine was completely rebuilt with compression up to at least 9:1, balanced and blue printed, transmission rebuilt. Also replaced radiator, clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, motor mounts, polyurethane control arm bushings, trailing arm bushings, strut rod bushings, ball joints, and much more.
