Vehicle Description
1973 FERRARI 246 GTS (DINO) --Blue Scuro with Cuoio seats and Tan carpets, 34,000 miles/56,000 kilometers from new prior to complete and photo documented restoration, History documented by Massini, Numbers Matching. This European 246 GTS was originally delivered in Italy to dealer Pietro Masin and enjoyed its Italian lifestyle until 1982 when it was purchased by a Mr. Morabito and exported to Northern California showing 18,530 km’s. In 1983, it was sold once again to another California resident a Mr. Patitz. It was serviced by Mike Sheehan’s European Auto Restoration in Costa Mesa. In 1985, it was offered for sale through European Auto Sales, Inc, now showing 26,755 km’s. At this time it was re-purchased by its previous owner Mr. Morabito, who we assume must have missed the joy of its ownership. Mr. Morabito kept the Dino until 1989 when it was sold to another California resident, Mr. Biaggini, at this time the odometer was showing 28,716 km’s. Mr. Biaggini kept the car for quite some time before selling it to a Mr. J. Biggs, yet another California resident. Mr. Biggs also enjoyed the Dino for a period of time prior to offering it for sale in 2008. In early 2009, this Dino was re-purchased by the family of its previous owner, Mr. Biaggini. The Biaggini family had enjoyed its ownership until 2013. At this time it was purchased by Autosport Designs and sold to a well-respected and noted Ferrari collector. It was during this enthusiast's ownership, where this low-mileage, extremely well-cared for Dino (superb and without rust because of California ownerships) underwent a two-year no expense-spared complete restoration at a cost of almost $300,000.00. One of the finest 246 GTS’s available, this Dino is superb in every way and ready for immediate road use or show.
