Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1973 Fiat 124 Sport Coupe. Finished in Orange Red, this presents as an honest and original example with no known rust issues. Nice paint over a straight and solid body; excellent original glass, bumpers and trim. This car spent 45 years in its native Italy before being imported to the U.S. within the last couple of years. While the 124 convertible is fairly common stateside, it's rare to see the Sport Coupe. Its driving dynamics remind us of a BMW 2002, except this Fiat has a twin-cam four cylinder engine and a five speed manual transmission.

We believe the interior to be completely original, and it has held up remarkably well. Excellent seat upholstery, door panels, headliner and dash. Italian rubber floor mats show light wear and lots of charm. All gauges, lights, etc. are working properly. A 1980s vintage Pioneer cassette stereo is fitted.

Under the hood is a 1.6 liter twin cam four cylinder mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The engine runs great and the clutch and gearbox feel good with no crunchy synchros, We really appreciate the analog driving experience of a car like this - no power assisted steering or brakes, but the car feels light and nimble (and it stops great thanks to four-wheel disk brakes).
