Vehicle Description
The 1973 Mustang Grande Coupe IS NEAR DALLAS, TEXAS FOLKS, IN OUR GARAGE JUST LOOKING PRETTY! If you want to see a video of it running, text my husband 469-235-1119 to forward his video he made late June 2016. now the story...We purchased this Mustang Grande Coupe in 2010 from it's original 90 yr old owner who said his family had enjoyed it for over 35 yrs. It's over 40 now, we have owned it over 5 years. He had the car garaged and covered in cardboard for protection at his impressive to say the least estate sale. He lost his wife and was letting go of prized possessions and not too cheap either but good stuff. Anway, we loved it when we saw it and that it had placed 8th in a car show, and my husband was turning 50. Good reason to buy huh! So we took it to a Mustang shop he used. All receipts and updates were carefully kept up by him and we've got them. The shop saw it before the paint and vinyl in 2008 (one of those receipts) and verified it had not been in a wreck, as the original owner stated. The engine is from his family winning race boat. One son raced boats with him and the other sold auto parts, so they had a good time fixing up this Mustang Grande. The outside is super sharp! The inside has new looking carpet and black headliner. The seats are a really cool color lime fabric and lime green leather and original. The stereo system is JVC, sounds real nice. The original rims are in the trunk and the replacements pictured are from a newer Mustang's from a family member of the old man's. We have the original owner's detailed list of changes he made over the years to upgrade the car as I said above, and we've kept it looking and sounding very sharp. The old man stopped by once and was so happy it was in good hands, his estate sale was in our neighborhood. My husband Tony (469-235-1119)knows more details than me, but I am the one listing. We love it but have not had the time to give it the care someone who loves old Mustangs would do. If someone sees it, we are noticed with appreciation that is for sure! It would almost be like buying it from the original owner, without a few updates from us, like a battery. It does not have AC though but to me looks like one could be put in if it is real important and the miles with this new engine is under 5,000. We do not know the old mileage, but the man's family took really good care of it. All facts are true. Give my hubby a call or text to really see it running on his video and thanks so much for looking! Best time to text is weekends and evenings between 5-9 pm. It's in our garage, and we are in Dallas Texas. I just marked it down $1000 today July 4, 2016. We have interest but no one with the cash yet! It needs it's real owner who will adore it and take it out on the country roads. It's begging for that!!!!
