Vehicle Description
Offered For Sale by The California Automobile Museum 1973 Jensen-Healey Mark I, One Owner, 48,000 original miles We Offer Financing There are many British sports cars to choose from, but the Jensen-Healey was the best-selling Jensen of all time. Built from 1972–76, this two-seat convertible sports car was praised for its handling with 50/50 weigh balance and Lotus dual overhead cam motor. This 1973 Mark I features smaller front and rear bumpers as the larger 5 mph bumpers were mandated for 1974-76. Exterior: This car has been repainted GM Chalet Blue. Interior in good shape with minimal wear. Heater fan does not operate. Motor and Driveline: the 1973cc Lotus 907 dual overhead cam, 16-valve all-alloy engine purrs with rebuilt dual Stromberg carburetors. New cam belt, fan belt, valve cover gaskets, electric fuel pump and Pertronix electronic ignition. The four speed transmission shifts well. Cooling has been upgraded with heavy duty aluminum radiator, new hoses and electric cooling fan. Suspension is simple but effective with double wishbone and coil springs at the front, and a live rear axle with trailing arms and coils at the rear. New Front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. New wheel bearings and upper ball joints. New KYB gas shocks. This is a nicely maintained driver, one owner, only 48k miles. There were only 3,347 Mark I’s produced, out of 10,503 Jensen-Healeys. Get behind the wheel of a classic British sports car today, without emptying your wallet!
