1973 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE 4.5 - “Red Pig” Tribute, S/N 10806712018423, a tribute build to honor “Die Rote Sau”, aka The Red Pig that put Mercedes tuner AMG on the map. In 1971, they took a 300 SEL 6.3 sedan, modified it and went racing…taking 1st in class and 2nd overall at the 24 Hours of Spa…simply unheard of from a large sedan…this was the beginning of AMG’s amazing future. This clone is based on a 1973 280 SE 4.5 and pays honor to the Red Pig with period racing livery, steel flairs, outside filler gas cap (in-op), full cage tied to the frame, front racing bucket seats with 5 point harnesses, AMG/Ronal style rims, 4 huge Hella driving lamps and more. This car turns heads like no other…it is just a hoot to drive. Have fun! *not legal in CA
