Vehicle Description
This beautiful 1974 Porsche 911 S has had a nice life in California, staying in the garage for a majority of its life. The car has been repainted Black/Black, over the original Gray exterior, and the seats were upgraded by the second owner to a newer OEM Porsche automatic comfort seats, as well as a full Targa-look conversion, with the infamous Whale's Tale Turbo-look Spoiler in the rear (non-OEM) and Turbo-look chin spoiler in the front. The wheels were painted to match the exterior. All glass is flawless, with the seals still in good shape but probably in need of revitalization down the line, and normal rock chips / paint swirls can be found around the car - very common with CA cars that haven't only been garage queens. This is the perfect car for someone looking to get out and drive a 1970's Porsche 911 without having to worry about provenance and historic value. The clutch feels great, as do the brakes (showing 65% of life), and the tires (circa 2017) show about 75%+ of remaining tread. Engine idles and runs great, free of smoke, and leaks. The Targa top comes with the OEM insert which is in great condition and can be removed with ease. The previous owner had electronic side mirror adjustment switches installed, as well as an alarm system and an aftermarket (and easily interchangeable) radio/bluetooth head unit. Rust-free car with original tool kit and spare as well as manuals and keys. Title in-hand. This is a great car that deserves to be drive quite a bit! Let me know if you have any further questions.
