Vehicle Description
The Triumph TR6 was built in England by the Triumph Motor Company from 1968 through 1976. It was the best seller of the TR range when production ceased. The TR6 engine was a 2.5 litre straight 6, with identical Lucas mechanical fuel injection as the TR5 for global markets and a carbureted system for the United States. The TR6 featured a four speed manual syncromesh transmission. The body work was similar to the TR5 except that both the front and back ends are squared off. Features of the 1974 TR6 include independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15 inch wheels and tires, pile carpeting on the interior floors and trunk, bucket seats and full walnut dash instrumentation. The brakes were discs in the front and drums in the rear. This TR6 has 29,000 original miles and would make a great summer driver. This Triumph is in excellent condition and a wonderful driver. You would be proud to show it at any British car show. From the tight griping red line tires to the beautiful black paint, this stunning car will turn heads. The folded convertible top is still in new condition as it appears to have never been up. The tonneau cover has been used sparingly as evidenced from its like new condition. With only 29,000 miles this car has always been well maintained. The twin Weber carbs are a nice addition to the great engine. The flawless tan interior with black piping is near perfect shows very well. The optional Hella driving lights are a nice finishing touch and light the road ahead as it were daytime. All instruments are clear and work well. It should give the new owner many miles of driving thrills.
