Vehicle Description
All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance. I can assist with financing and transport as needed. Here is a nice opportunity to own a collectible Corvette on a budget. This sharp 1975 model is a great example of the Stingray, with all the curves and creases that have aged so well over the last 40+ years. It is a great driving car with 78k miles and thousands in recent maintenance. And it can’t be missed with its flamboyant look and chambered exhaust. This C3 was recently repainted in its original code 70 Orange Flame paint which looks just right on this body style. The frame is in good condition and the fiberglass does not have any cracking issues. The grille pieces, bumper pads, lenses, and moldings are all nice as well. The T-top weatherstripping was recently replaced to ensure good seals. The Rally wheels are very fitting for this car and have good tires. There is also a luggage rack along with chrome exhaust tips. This Corvette is powered by its original L48 350ci engine, while the transmission is a durable TH400 3-speed automatic. A full dual chambered exhaust was installed for that classic side pipe sound (and a little more power). Note this change eliminated the catalytic converter. The car is also equipped with power steering and power brakes. The steering was just serviced with a new control valve, rebuilt power cylinder, and idler arm. The brakes have also been serviced. In addition the rear wheel bearings were rebuilt (no small job on this model) and the car received a 4-wheel alignment. The interior is the original code 192 black leather. There are woodgrain accents on the dash, console, and door panels for a rich look. The tilt/telescoping steering wheel provides more comfortable driving and better ingress/egress. This car also has power windows and an aftermarket sound system with an auxiliary input. The heater / defroster function properly, though the factory a/c is disabled. All gauges and indicators work properly along with the horn, wipers, and parking brake. Even the key buzzer works! There are plenty of cheap mid-70’s Corvettes on the market, but so many of them have a worn-out appearance and break whenever you want to use them. This one looks fantastic and is ready for the road. And at this price level it remains an affordable classic that can drive and enjoy.
