GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1975 Innocenti Mini Cooper 1300 for sale. This Mini was legally imported from Italy in 1995 and it was immediately disassembled and restored by Performance Developments in Gilberts Illinois. The engine and transmission were completely overhauled and many new parts were added. These new parts included the alternator, distributor, carburetors, radiator, pistons, rings, bearings, crank rods, clutch, throwout bearing, master-slave cylinder, all new brake lines, rotors, and pads. All suspension components were replaced and a coilover style suspension was installed. All of this to say that this Mini is one of the best out there. The exterior is finished in a striking color of yellow. This Mini was built with one purpose in mind and that is performance. The 10-inch wheels are wrapped in performance tires. The fitment of the wheels under the flared arches is enough to make any enthusiast stop and admire. With the sport suspension, the stance of this car is aggressive and looks amazing. Mounted on the front bumper are PIAA lights. Complementing the exterior is a black and blue two-tone interior. The front seats are Corbeau bucket racing seats and the rear bench seat matches the front. Even the door panels and carpet match the racing seats. To hold occupants tight, 5-point racing harnesses are used. In addition to the racing seats and harnesses a roll cage was also installed along with a Sparco steering wheel. The fuel system has been completely replaced. There is a fuel cell in the trunk which was installed along with new fuel lines and a fuel pump. The car was built for performance and has been certified for racing. Chances are you will never see another one of these cars on the road and even more important you will never find another car that is more fun to drive.
