1979 L82 4 Speed Colorado car since new.This engine block is the same as a 1970 lt1 block.4 bolt main,steel crank,forged pistons,aluminum intake. This is not the stock 350 L48 2 bolt main cast crank block.39k miles.All matching numbers car.53000 corvettes made in 1979.14516 L82 cars 12000 4 speed cars were built. This car is a rare gem. This car was garage kept since new.All detailed records about one inch thick file since new. There is no rust anywhere on this car.I purchased car in 2006 from woman owner since 1983. Car is great mechanically. Inside of engine is spotless.Meticulous maintenance since new.Corrosion free, original lacquer paint in good condition.New tires,brakes with upgraded caliper kits,new clutch,hurst shifter,carburetor rebuilt,fuel pump,motor mounts,water pump and stat.,front cover seal was leaking so i installed new roller timing chain and seal.New Air conditioning compressor,barrier hoses,receiver drier.All 6 new USA made u joints on half shafts and drive shaft..Optima battery,factory alarm and electric antennae with alpine stereo.New windshield,ignition wires cap and rotor.Front end completely rebuilt,New oil press.sender.Everything works well.I was a mechanic for 37 years and did all work.Laser straight frame and body.This car is better than i can explain.Runs well and drives great. Does not smoke or burn oil.New wheel center caps on order and coming shortly.I am retired and i am selling 2 cars out of the 5 cars i have. I only need to sell one car.This corvette is the good one.Almost all the 1979 corvettes listed can not document mileage. Add 100,000 miles to the car in almost all cases.The car is a blast to drive! Fast too.Brakes are great with upgraded o-ring style pistons in calipers.This upgrade is a must on these cars.This car does not need any repairs.Why buy a rusty one that needs work?
