Used 1979 Chevrolet Van for sale in Henderson, NV

CHEVY VAN. 1979 model G-10, ½ ton cargo (or panel) van. Asking $1,450 obo. A great van for doing a complete restoration / customization / mechanical overhaul to transform it into a “Super Van” or similar, as it is not running - the engine is blown. The body is in good condition, with no rust at all. It appears to have lived its first six years in L.A. and the past 34 years in the even dryer climate of Las Vegas. It has helper springs in rear, so it can carry a lot of weight. Also has a ball hitch for either a 1 & 7/8” or a 2” ball. Handles very well. The interior floor is in excellent condition for its age since it appears it was covered with a rug during the six years prior to my purchasing it. Since 1985, there has been carpet padding and carpeting in the main section of the van, but the front floor areas does show wear. Also, the dashboard and doghouse needs work as well, but I’m guessing that whoever is interested in a classic, vintage van such as this will have their own ideas on how to make the finished product look spectacular. Also, previous owner was no doubt a Clothes Cleaning business as it has four bars that run from one side of the ceiling to the other. In addition to adding superior roll-over strength, it provides a solid frame for hanging items or working the restoration into the horizontal bars. It has a fold-down shelf which can be easily removed, which is about 18” or so wide, about half way up the left side running from front to back. The 166K+ miles are original and I have about all of the service receipts showing the work done over the years. Clean title as well.
