Vehicle Description
1979 Lincoln Continental 84k Miles , Garage kept, 400ci V8, great driver, very nice car, original paint New tires, New exhaust system, New air conditioner compressor, New front & rear shocks, New hood insulation (I still have the original), New ignition module (I have the old one still), New front & rear springs, New brakes, new heater core. Very fun car to drive; like floating on a cloud, easy to drive. I always enjoy taking this car out & hate to sell it, but I'm moving on to other projects and have put her up for sale. The previous owner installed an after market radio, but he gave me the original 8 track unit. The new air conditioning blows ice cold even at idle. The interior is in great shape, no tears in seats or carpet. I had a small chip on the lower passenger's side of the windshield repaired recently. Please bare in mind this car is almost 40 years old and has a few small chips in the paint that aren't easy to see in the pictures, but on the whole is still in great shape for the shape shes in. This car is loaded with many features that still work great; cruise control, auto temp controls, automatic releasing emergency brake, auto sensing night time (turns on headlights for you!), passenger cigar lighters & rear opera window lights, factory installed CB radio, etc. You can see a KBB review of this model at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSOQ4da7yvA There is a problem with the odometer, a gear in the dash has failed causing the odometer to stop counting at 82,300 miles.
