Vehicle Description
Selling my Mercedes 240 D Euro sedan. I have had this car for 7 years and it has been a great daily driver! I hate to part with it and would like to keep it forever but we are living in some crazy times. The car is damn near invincible. The few components that make this car run come from the same material as Thor's hammer. This is why thousands of 240Ds have lasted 40+ years as taxi cabs, some totaling 1 million + miles . Originally I bought it from a lady in Portland who bought it new and had it garaged for its entire life. I kept it in a garage up until I moved last year. The car is in great condition with 207,000 miles on the W123 chassis/ transmission and 120,000 on the engine. I have records of oil changed every 6 months as well as some upgrades that have been added to the car over the years. -new alternator/battery (~2017) -new starter (~2016) -shocks replaced (~2015 -new clutch (~2015) -engine replacement (~2014) -new Kenwood sound system with JBL Subwoofer and amplifier (valued at $1,500) Items included in sale: -Custom wool seat cover x2 -Left front Euro headlight -Aluminum wheel-well trim x3 -Custom carpet dash cover -Water Resistant full car cover The car has an aftermarket gear-shift knob to match the stained wood of the dash, and I have the original knob as well. This purchase comes with a custom made roof rack that I built when I originally got the car. Everything in the car is works like new: stereo, sun roof, everything on the dashboard, seat mechanics, climate control, etc. The interior is in good condition for the age of the car. The drivers seat has some wear on the under side and there is a spot in the back seats that have lost its stitching, easy DIY fix. The frame/ trunk has minimal rust, nothing that takes away from the integrity of the build, as the car has been garaged most of its life. I also just put a fresh coat of wax on the car so it is looking slick!
