We are pleased to present this two owner 1979 Mercedes-Benz 300-D. Powered by the now legendary 3-litre 5-cylinder diesel engine. Originally in the 240D models, Mercedes took the 240D and changed them to 300D with new exterior styling but the engines stayed the same and for good reason, they have been known to go 500k miles, so the 111k on the odometer is barely broken in. As you cruise down the road you will feel the 4-speed Automatic Transmission shift smoothly through the gears with plenty of torque from the Diesel motor. The Astralsiber Metallic paint is in great shape defying its age. The body is solid with only a minor blemish on the inside of the drivers side rear tire well. The blue interior is very nice with the exception of some discoloration of headliner and sun visors. New map pockets are on the way to be installed soon.
