Used 1979 Mercedes-Benz 450SL for sale in Phoenix, AZ

1979 MERCEDES 450SL CONVERTIBLE, BEAUTIFUL, RUST FREE ARIZONA CAR. This is probably the nicest 450 SL I have ever seen!!! Convertible and Hard Top. The hard top needs to be painted if it going to be used. The previous, older owner had the Mercedes serviced and gone through to the tune of $30.000 before giving it to his daughter before he passed away. She never drove the car but she kept it in her garage for over 10 years as a memory of her dad. When she divorced the next door neighbor managed to buy the Mercedes from her and they pushed it to his garage. He then took it to a Mercedes shop expecting to spend $3000-$5000 to get it up and running again but they went through the engine, transmission, rebuilt the fuel injection system etc. They even installed a new convertible top. He also spend around $30.000 all in all before the Mercedes was ready to be picked up! He has driven the 450SL 5.000 to less than 10.000 miles since then and it runs excellent. The car is of course rust free and in very nice condition. The A/C blows cold, the power windows work fine, the power antenna work fine and the clock even works and keep right time. The body is excellent, interior is very nice to perfect and the conv top is new.
