Used 1979 Volkswagen Beetle for sale in Pewaukee, WI

Meet Clementine! I fell in love with and purchased this super beetle as my first car in 1990. A husband and twin daughters followed and we have had almost 30 fun years with this car. We had the girls in car seats and joked about them eventually learning how to drive stick and push start a car! Both of which have occurred. Unfortunately, as the kids have grown and my husband and I no longer drive the car as often as we would like - we have decided to sell her and let someone else have the experience of owning a fun classic car! We live in Wisconsin, but the car has only seen sun and has spent all winters in the garage. NO RUST The car was rebuilt in 1991. Our initial updates were the carpet and upholstery and you will see that it has come full circle and the vinyl needs to be replaced again after 29 years. We have replaced the engine, twice, and the current engine runs great. We also replaced the convertible top and headliner, added disc brakes, new ignition switch, clutch, fuel pump, brake pads, wheel bearings and gaskets and new tires over the years. All of our mechanic work has been done by the same garage that specializes in Beetles. The odometer does not work, but as a collector it is exempt. We do not put that many miles on the car in the summer - just cruise on the warm summer nights! The under body and body are in good shape without rust, there are a few paint knicks. We installed a CD/radio that can be quirky - turns off when the blinker is engaged - then turns back on after you make the corner.
