This Z28 was treated to a professional exterior restoration in 2019 including a new correct paint job, new tires with restored wheels, new weather stripping, and new exhaust. Many restoration receipts come with the sale. The factory owners manual and a few dealer documents come with the car as well. Several past registrations, bill of sale, inspection reports, and title come with the car documenting long term ownership and where the car has spent its life thus far. The interior is mostly original and in great condition for its age and an original factory build sheet was found behind the rear seat and a second build sheet is under the front drivers seat. This Z28 is very solid with excellent body lines and gaps and there is no rust anywhere around the car. The frame and under carriage is also very solid and honest with no rust or repaired areas. This Z28 spent most of its life out west and then in Texas which is where we got it from. This Z28 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Blue exterior paint(code 29) over Deluxe Blue deluxe interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag and build sheet seen in photos. Its a stunningly beautiful color scheme which is rarely seen. Original owner had the car until 2017 and had it out west. Exterior The Blue exterior is in superb restored condition. This Z28 was treated to a professional repaint just a few months ago in 2019 and still has a fresh very nice look in stock appearance. The paint quality is excellent with an excellent gloss and is smooth to the touch. The decals are new and were purchased in 2019. The body is very solid and the gaps and lines are excellent. Both bumpers are in excellent shape with no flaking or faded paint and no spider webbing. The decals are new and in perfect shape and really accent the car and Z28 package. There is zero rust on this car and no bubbling paint or cracked paint or areas with heavy bondo or repairs. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. The BF Goodrich tires have full tread left and are correctly sized 225/70/15 and were purchased in 2019 and the Z28 wheels are OEM originals which have been nicely restored with new paint, new center caps and new lug nuts. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in excellent new condition. The door seals, trunk seal, window sweeps, and window seals are all newer. Trunk is very solid and clean with the spare tire, original trunk mat, and jack and tools. Interior The Blue deluxe cloth interior of this Z28 is in terrific original condition. The seat covers are original and are in great overall condition especially for being cloth and 40 years old. The carpet is original too and in very good condition too with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in excellent overall condition and the dash bezel is in excellent condition as well. There are no cracks in the dash and no warping or fading. The original style cassette AM/FM stereo looks great in the car and still works and thankfully the dash was not cut for a modern stereo. The original deluxe door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in great condition with no stains and is not sagging at all. The package tray is in great condition with original speaker grills. All interior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the clock which is common for not working. The stereo, wipers, and blower motor all work. The tilt wheel works as it should. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. Currently the horn is not working. Mechanical This Z28 is in good mechanical condition and still retains its original 350 engine in stock condition. We have driven this Z28 numerous times on the streets and highways and it always performs very well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs very well. This Z28 is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. New Pypes exhaust was recently added which gives this Z28 an excellent rumble at idle and cruising speeds. A new alternator was recently added. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. This is a factory AC car and all factory parts are present but it appears the system needs charged to blow cold air. This Z28 has been loved and meticulously cared for by its previous owners and has been kept in stock appearance which enhances its value.
