Used 1981 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler for sale in Costa Mesa, CA

This 1981 Jeep Scrambler received a full restoration a few years ago and has only been driven 1,000 miles since. The stock suspension was upgraded with Rancho shocks and oversize wheels and tires from Dick Cepek were fitted. The 4.2L engine, which was carbureted during this era, has been modified with a Mopar Performance Multi-Port Injection kit. The kit replaces the stock carburetor, intake manifold and other major components with multi-point injection (MPI). Each cylinder has its own injector that is activated sequentially according to the firing order to precisely control individual fuel requirements. These MPI Conversion Kits are self-compensating and run equally well from sea level to terrain above 12,000 feet. The interior has all-weather seats front and rear and a bikini top. The interior floor has been protected with body-color liner coating for more all-weather protection. This Jeep runs and drives very well and looks and feels the part with nothing more than a tarp over your head and safety door at your side.
