For Sale is this very low mileage, classic, clean Mercedes Benz 380SL. Vehicle history report shows no accidents or damage (see photo). This beautiful vehicle comes in a neutral tan paint job (it still get noticed wherever you go!) complimented by a clean chocolate interior. Powering this highly desirable roadster is a 3.8 liter V8 motor, automatic transmission. Features include 4 wheel power disc brakes, power windows, power steering, heat, A/C and much much more. Additionally, this head turning vehicle comes with both a removable hard top and convertible soft top. Both are in great condition and function as they should. Brand new upgraded Sony stereo with AM/FM, CD, mp3. The only flaws in this timeless classic are a crack in the passenger seat (see photos), some wear and discoloration on a few places on drivers seat, a few tiny paint chips, and the sun visors need the foam replaced. They function fine but are a little saggy. The doors are a little sticky when locking from the inside, but can be locked with key. Includes 3 ignition/door keys. The A/C takes a few miles to blow cold if the car has been sitting in the sun. Also includes an attached accordion sunshade to keep the interior in great shape, as well as a all season car cover. Since the introduction of the 300SL roadster in 1957, the Mercedes SL name plate has been associated with the best of the best in open air motoring. To this day, the Mercedes SL masterfully combines quality, performance, elegance and style. 1981's 380SL was part of the legendary run from 1971 to 1989 that continued the SL's reign of success. The SL variant was a 2-seat convertible with standard soft top and optional hardtop. This particular year of SL was the R107 Chassis which replaced the W113 and then was later replaced by the R129. The R107 which was produced from 1971 through 1989, making it the second longest single series ever produced by Mercedes Benz.
