Below this is a console in blue plastic that has straight grain veneer inserts which flow upward towards the dash. This area houses the gearshift, window switches, and temperature selector wheel with airflow option buttons. Moving upward we see a Becker radio and cassette player, and toggles for antenna up and down, fog lights and rear defrost for the hardtop. Consigner states that the AC system has been upgraded to the new R134A, however the compressor will not engage. Instrument cluster has nice covers and original steering wheel with airbag. Drivetrain A fuel injected Daimler Benz BV8 engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission attached powers this car. Some corrosion on the aluminum parts within the engine bay is seen. Undercarriage Totally rust free, and very good is seen when giving the underside a peek. All is clean, and some oiling is present, but unremarkable for a car this age.
