Vehicle Description
This gorgeous Roadster has the removable hardtop that when removed reveals the like new black soft top. Hardtop, soft-top, or no top the choice is yours. This was the last year of the 380SL and it is becoming quite collectable. The legendary 3.8 liter V8 run smooth as silk, accelerates like a tiger and shifts with smooth responsiveness. The gray leather interior is in excellent shape with no rips or tears. There are unique chrome accents all through the car including the door jams, seats, side view mirror brackets, hood, grill, trunk lid and of course the beautiful Chrome M-B rims. The stereo has been upgraded with an Alpine Bluetooth AM/FM/USB CD player, an external amp and 4 Rockford Fosgate punch speakers. The car is in above average condition but it does have a small list of items that need addressed which have been factored into the price. The A/C needs recharged, the heat stops working when the engine gets up to operating temperature, there is excessive play in the steering wheel, the odometer stops working intermittently (just started), it leaks a small amount of oil, the power antenna does not go up all of the way, one of the docking points for the hard top needs repaired and there are a few very minor rust bubbles behind the front wheels. With just over 100k this beauty has a ton of life left in her. Based on its current condition we would appraise this beauty as a #3 car and would appraise it an the N.A.D.A. average value which is currently $20,400.00 With an original window sticker of $43,000 and an appraised value in excess of $20K this sweet ride is a steal at $9,900. This is your opportunity to own one of the finest cars ever built for half of its appraised value so if you like what you see you better pick up the phone before someone else does!
