I am the 2nd owner of this beautiful Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 that is 1 of only 3000 produced in 1985 and less than 1000 with this black/grey paint combo for this year, also it has the same Hurst h/o motor (distinguished by markings "5A" stamped on heads as stated in documentation) from the factory, only produced for 2 years (1983-84) but a limited quantity was put into the early produced 442's. The 1985 Cutlass 442 W42 is documented as being the best of the 3 year (1985-87) period built (rated for best performance and best quality appearance) of its era/generation. This beautiful g-body was recently painted and striped like original. Only driven on nice days, always garaged and never had any rust or bondo! The original Olds 442 wheels were re-chromed, powder coated and clear coated, inside & out (better than factory), wrapped with new Cooper Cobra radial tires and spare to match. A new headliner and new carpet were installed due to fade. The original grey interior, bucket seats, and floor shifter/console are in mint condition. New suspension including springs & shocks, new exhaust system (nice sound), new water pump and hoses, rebuilt 4bbl carburator, new fuel pump and fuel lines, and a complete tune up.
