Used 1987 Buick GNX for sale in Houston, TX

Okay all you Turbo Buick Forum members, here it is. GNX #296! 115,000 miles, Fresh Paint, Ready to be driven and enjoyed! Century Transmission even rebuilt the transmission to GNX specs! This particular GNX #296 is well known on the forums and is probably one of the highest mile GNX's known to exist (as far as we know and hear) but it was sold a while back by the original owner and we have it here on consignment from the 2nd owner right here in Houston, Texas. That's right. This is a 2-owner GNX with 115,000 original miles on it but does not contain it's original engine. It has a replacement engine in it right now. This is one of the few GNX's that can actually be driven and enjoyed. You won't have to worry about hurting your investment by driving around town or to your local car shows. At this point, the original engine is not with the car here in Houston, Texas and does not go with the car for this sale. We are told by the current owner that the original engine is still back in New Jersey being stored by the guys who sold the car for the original owner from the last sale. It was not shipped to Houston. We are also told the engine is available for purchase. Here is what the current owner has to say about the current engine in the car today: "Yes the short block is available to be picked up in New Jersey. The current short block is a service replacement block. The top-end original to the car and Turbo is a GNX turbo. There is no difference between the short blocks of a GNX and a regular Buick 3.8 liter V6." (Note: I will try and get as much information on the current engine as possible. Call me and we will go over all the numbers, etc. ) There was much discussion about this car back in 2018 after it was sold on eBay. Where did the car go? Who has it now? Etc. The current owner did post on that forum as well and told everyone that the car was here in Houston, Texas. Well it is and now it is actually in our showroom here at Carlyle Motors in Houston (Katy) Texas. Note: Carlyle Motors, LLC now owns this car. The car looks great now due to a fresh paint job and the interior and undercarriage look very nice as well. He has a show winning painter that does his work here in Houston and this is a very nice paint job! This was a well maintained car by the original owner (except for an engine replacement) and a few paint issues at the time of the original, last sale. Great documentation from maintenance records to original lease documents and original title. Even up to date hand written letter from the original owner. However, the paint looks great now and the car is ready to roll. The transmission was even rebuilt by a local company here in town named Century Transmission. They are known for rebuilding Grand National/GNX transmissions and rebuilt this transmission to GNX specs. Here is a list of a few other things done to the car according to the current owner: Remove all rust and repaint the car. Replace all weather stripping. Replace the exhaust with a new Kirban Stainless Steel exact replica tubing and mufflers. Replace the catalytic converter with a NOS cat. Replace Front & Rear rubber bumper guards (NOS). Replace Front air dam (NOS) As mentioned above, the current owner here in Houston purchased the car from the original owner and he has numerous records of his ownership and detailed maintenance of the car. He also has the original owners manual, etc. The records that come with this car are extensive and will come with the sale of the car. Some of this information is shown in the pictures below.
