In 1982, Buick introduced the Grand National to celebrate their wins of the Winston Manufacturers Cup and what began as a limited run of 100 cars to celebrate their victories became a mainstay of the Buick brand through the 1980s. Something about the Grand National captured the essence of American automotive culture throughout the 1980s. In 1987 when this Grand National was produced, Buick had created a swan song for the Buick Muscle Car, a working mans supercar, with huge amounts of usable torque and a 14 second quarter mile time right off the dealership lot. All of the wiring has been gone though to make sure everything's in working order. The brakes were completely redone and shocks installed along with all new BF Goodrich comp T/A tires.
