The late-great Carroll Shelby built an incredibly successful career of making all sorts of cars faster. This rare pickup raised an eyebrow in 1989 when the Dodge Shelby Dakota was produced. Only 1,500 of these racy pickups were built for just one year, and two-and-a-half decades later they still turn heads. What makes this truck so special is what's under the hood. Powered by 5.2-liter LA 318 V-8 with throttle body fuel injection lashed to a four-speed A500 automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels. This was the first V-8, rear-wheel-drive vehicle with Shelby's name on it since the 1960's. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1989 Dodge Shelby Dakota for purchase.
