Mercedes Benz, as many of you know, launched the flagship 560SL at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1985. It was sold alongside the 500SL with minor exterior changes, improved front-wheel suspension, and new ABS vented disc rotors.

Under the hood is a 5.6L V8 engine which was the most powerful engine Mercedes offered at the time. The European version without the emissions controls that the US required put out a whopping 275hp, this may not sound like a lot of power for a car in today's world but for those days that was fairly impressive.

This particular vehicle is a turn key car that has been well maintained throughout the years; the first owner lived in the south Hamptons, which must have been a great ride to have for those Sunday cruises.

The current owners purchased the car in 1997, The couple took great care of the vehicle, always garage kept, maintained and loved.
