Here is a "Stop in your Tracks" Beautiful 1989 Avanti Convertible In 1963 and 1964 Studebaker made the Avanti. When Studebaker went out of business, the molds for the iconic "Avanti" were promptly purchased and reproduction began, These are hand built, American, production cars in a Limited number and the lowest production and most desirable were the Convertibles. This car is built on a 1989 Chevrolet Caprice frame and drive train with a 5.0 Liter V-8 200R 4 speed automatic. It is very dependable and the parts are available everywhere. This car does not have any oil or fluid leaks. This car drives really nice and looks good- interior and exterior. It is nice enough to show and/or drive. There is probably a 99% chance that there will not be an Avanti Convertible at the show. Everywhere you go- people look, point, thumbs up, or ask about it. The car has not been restored and does not need to be restored. Regular maintenance has always been done. In the last years the fuel pump, water pump, thermostat, belt and brakes have been replaced as well as,tires, oil etc. The car is not perfect, . But look at the pictures again....it is very nice. I am not a Car Lot who doesn't know anything about it. I like cars and drive them. $22,500 is the Sale Price. Look at the internet, I am leaving money on the table.
