As the last year for the popular Fox Body, SVT engineers went to work modifying all performance aspects. The fuel-injected 5.0 Windsor V8 saw a power increase with GT40 high-flow heads, the drivetrain was strengthened with a modified BorgWarner T5 manual transmission and the suspension utilized specially designed components for better grip. With numerous other upgrades added, the result was one of the best-performing Mustangs in decades.
