Used 1994 Mercedes-Benz SL500 for sale in Gastonia, NC

My 1994 Mercedes SL500 is in excellent overall condition, with 96k verifiable miles. Selling for $95,000 when new, the SL500 was a technological triumph for Mercedes. It is now just coming under collector radar, with prices going up noticeably this year. The SL500 has an interesting combination of classic utilitarian Mercedes design combined with modern driveability and advanced features, such as heated power seats, a pop-up roll bar, and power soft top. With a 322 hp 5.0L engine, it is capable of extreme performance and effortless cruising. This SL500 has its original Smoke Silver metallic paint and original interior. There are no dents, and the paint is flawless except for a few minor key scratches. The interior is in very good overall condition, with some typical wear on the driver’s seat and other minor flaws. The dashboard has no cracks, and the analog clock keeps time accurately. The original owner’s manual and dealer service books are included. Mechanically this SL500 needs nothing. I have owned it since 2013, maintained it carefully and performed typical repairs SL500s need. Recent work included replacing the headlight switch, installing new distributor caps, v-belt, and transmission shifter bushings, recharging air conditioning system, and overall inspection. A new Alpine amplifier has been installed to go with the original Bose/Mercedes audio system. The hard top headliner was just professionally replaced with original quality cloth and padding, and new Kumho Ecsta 4XII Ultra-High Performance tires have just been installed. This SL500 is solid, fast, precise, and drives as it should. SL500s are enjoyable and luxurious to drive, especially with the top down on a country road.
