Vehicle Description
Here's your chance to own a classic! According to driver's comments, one of the best loved and most enjoyed sports car convertibles. They only made these cars for the U.S. from 1992 to 1997. Demand and prices will only increase. Collectors will be swarming to get their hands on one of these fine classics. This model is the top-model of the Del Sol series featuring the VTEC aluminum alloy engine, rear spoiler, cruise control, anti-lock disc brakes, dual airbags. This one is a beauty, has been lovingly maintained and garaged when not being driven. But it is such fun to drive! The wind blowing through your hair, going down an unexplored highway, gives you such a wondrous feeling of freedom and a spirit of adventure. Several years ago, I drove it across country from Boise, ID to Key West, FL. I call it my Margaritaville tour, as I was following the route of Tully Mars, the main character in a novel written by Jimmy Buffett. The route took me through Sun Valley, ID, where Ernest Hemingway worked on his novels in a room in the Sun Valley Lodge. From there, through Yellowstone National Park, where the gorgeous views were spectacular to see, especially with the top down. Following roads East to Hannibal, MO, where I saw the cave where Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn hung out. From there I turned South, driving to Memphis, TN where I visited Elvis' Graceland. Then down the Natchez Trace Parkway to New Orleans. Oh, what fun I had touring around New Orleans, seeing all the old mansions and sampling the cuisine. I followed the gulf, driving through all the funky gulf towns and enjoying the top down weather all the way to Key West, FL, where kids on mo-peds sped around town and the bars were laid-back. Each place I went, people commented on what a beautiful well-maintained car my Del Sol is. Other Del Sol owners struck up conversations about where I had gone and my experiences in my Del Sol. Now is your chance to purchase this fun-to-drive convertible and take your own Margaritaville tour. Don't wait too long and miss your opportunity to own this classic car.
