Vehicle Description
All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance. I can assist with financing and transport as needed. Here is a gorgeous 1996 Corvette convertible. This is one of the Z15 Collector Edition cars built that year. They were only available in Sebring Silver with a black top and ZR1 style wheels. It makes for a very sharp Corvette and perhaps the nicest looking C4 Chevrolet made. This example shows a low 53,000 miles with a spotless Autocheck report. It is obvious this car has been well cared for throughout its life. The paint is in excellent condition with a great shine and smooth feel; it’s hard to believe this car is 23 years old. The top is in great condition as well without any rips or abrasions. The factory 17” wheels look terrific and have newer tires (P255/45ZR17 front, P285/40ZR17 rear). The underside looks clean as well. The engine is the proven 300hp LT1 motor with its aluminum heads and reverse cooling system. The drivetrain continues with an electronic overdrive automatic transmission which had been upgraded for 1996. Note this was the only transmission available with the LT1 that year. Traction control and cruise control are both present along with standard power steering and power disc brakes. The gray leather interior is also special for the Collector Edition. It is also in remarkable condition for a vehicle of this age. Like the exterior, the interior is very clean with minimal wear. The bucket seats are very comfortable and have the Collector Edition embroidery in the headrests. All gauges and instruments work properly and without any warning lights. Everything functions properly as well including the automatic climate control and Delco/Bose audio system. There are many inexpensive C4 Corvettes out there, but many of them have been ridden hard and put away wet. Not this one. If you’re looking for a nice, clean Corvette convertible this one deserves serious consideration.
