The Ford F-series trucks have been some of the best-selling and most renowned work horses of all time. Perhaps the most common sighted F-trucks of yesteryear are those from 1980-1997. Maybe these are the best of the Fs, maybe its because Ford used the same body shell from 1980 until they went for a full redesign in 1997. The ninth generation started in 1992 with the first major facelift since 1987. The ninth generation F-trucks have garnered a cult following, and finding one in great shape is quite an achievement these days. This 1996 F-250 XLT is properly appointed, with many desirable attributes. Many F-250s of this generation seem to be diesel, so it's fun to see one that is gas-powered. The engine purrs like this truck has 100,000 less miles on it, and it drives just how it should. The 460 may not be a Powerstroke, but it'll surely put enough power down to haul your fifth wheel trailer just fine! The engine bay is clean and complete, showing just how unmolested this truck is.
