Vehicle Description
Before you ask, because everyone's first question is "Why would you sell this car?". I am moving out of the country, I'm not sure for how long, and do not want this car to sit in the garage for an undetermined amount of time. Now, about the car. It is a 2000 Porsche Boxster S 6 Speed Convertible 3.2L 250.0hp. Yes, I know I have the price a little higher than others you can buy. I encourage you to look at the mileage and condition of those and then come to see mine because it is in IMPECCABLE condition. And it only has 42,000 miles!! It's almost 2019, that means this car was driven 2,211 Miles PER YEAR. Or 6 Miles a day!!! This car has been tracked and logged for all maintenance and issues. If you have done your homework about this generation Boxster/Caymans you probably have heard about the IMS (bearing) issue. IT WAS PROACTIVELY FIXED AT 27,482 miles. You can see the receipt attached. This means, it has all original parts and there is no "known issues" that could damage this car (the IMS was this generations only major downfall. New Sumitomo HTR Z III tires all around this past February. Tinted this past April. https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/car-comparison-tests/reviews/a19282/best-all-around-sports-car-porsche-boxster-s/ ^ Just a little review. But this car won best in class and has already made the short list of best Porsches to date. Now for my full transparency: The bad: 1) About a month ago A reflector light from the from driver side headlight came off (I can show you pictures as requested) - I filed an insurance claim because it was my cheapest option. I'm not sure if it would show up in a Carfax, but this is a heads up in case it does. 2) The rims have touched a curb and are scuffed. I have a body shop that can restore them $50 a piece. Or, you can find cooler rims for it. 3) The trunk lid doesn't stay open by itself. I have the part to fix this (it takes an hour or less). Over time the rods that hold the trunk up lose their pressure. Easy fix. That's it. I'm not kidding, there are no mechanical or body damages. I can't even find a scratch on it. But wait, There's more.... The best part about buying a Porsche it that you know for sure the owner took good care of it. So, I will include all the "babying" products I have for the car. This includes: 1) A model fitted heavy car cover 2) A model fitted dust cover 3) Spare parts for: a. Air filter b. Cabin filter c. Gas filter d. Oil filter removal tool e. Wheel nut locking tool f. Serpentine belt g. Mobile 1 oil h. Radiator fluid 4) EXTRA set of brand new, unused floor mats from Porsche 5) Two front seat car covers 6) The front bumper model fitted bra 7) Convertible top cleaner 8) Leather touch up paint (factory matched color) 9) All manuals and the official maintenance handbook 10) Porsche Diagnostic Code Reader cable and software I'm sure you are aware, the addons alone have thousands in value once added up.
